What sets us apart

You see, underwater, a camera operator hass no tripod, crane, jib, steadicam or dolly, so he must be able to stabilize the camera, pan it, tilt it, move it up, down, slide it and make it stop on a dime all by himself. How? Through diving skills, plain and simple. The better a diver an operator is, the better his camera work will be. But then, there are skills and there are skills. We know of a lot of "been diving for 20 years" divers whose skill set we would not trust to keep them alive in a bath tub, much less to operate a camera in a professional production. A great diver is a rare combination of athleticism, intelligence, equipment savvy, patience and respect for the sea.

Our team is formed of some of the best divers in the world, bar none. Each of us has been diving for at least 15 years, with a collective experience of over 100 years. We all have in excess of 7000 dives each, and some over 15 000. In fact, at one point or another, we have all worked as diving instructors, training agencies leaders, diving equipment designers, commercial divers and rescue divers.

But then again, many great divers could not compose a decent shot if their lives depended on it, so the deep understanding of image creation aesthetics that all members of our team possess and work constantly on developing is what truly sets us apart. Armed with unparalleled skills to tackle the most demanding environment known to man, a keen eye to perfectly capture this medium into recorded images and the best equipment to do it with, we are the underwater imaging experts.
